Lupin has spun out two clinical-phase cancer drug candidates to create Kaveri Therapeutics, a U.S.-based startup that plans to raise cash for further development. Kaveri’s programs hit targets pursued by major drugmakers including AstraZeneca, Bayer and Bristol Myers Squibb.
